Ryan practices with the Employment Labor and Benefits Practice Group and the Business/General Counsel Practice Group. He assists clients with employment and labor issues, including drafting of employee handbooks and other employment documents, responding to employment discrimination claims, affirmative action plans, and complying with state and federal employment-related statutes and regulations. Ryan also assists clients with employment-based immigration matters including services related to employer-sponsored nonimmigrant and immigrant visas.

Representative Experience

• Advised employers on compliance issues related to I-9 employment eligibility verification, E-Verify and Social Security “No-Match” letters
• Represented employers on immigration matters such as securing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for management, professional, specialized skill and other temporary employees
• Drafted and reviewed employee handbooks and employer policy manuals, employment and non-compete contracts and severance agreements and provided counsel on related matters
• Successfully defended several Charges of Discrimination before state and federal agencies resulting in No Reasonable Cause Determinations
