Josh Norton practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities and general corporate law. As part of his practice, Josh assists clients throughout the sale, acquisition, merger or restructuring process, including the due diligence investigation, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents and other closing and post-closing matters. He also works with clients on entity governance issues, and assists clients in the manufacturing, distributor, service and retail sectors with a variety of distribution and product-supply chain issues, as well as related management and financing issues.

Representative Experience

• Represented manufacturer in preparation and roll-out of new distributor agreements to nearly 100 distributors
• Represented private equity group in $52 million investment in manufacturing company
• Represented seller in $3 million sale of family-owned machinery supply and service company
• Represented seller in $34 million stock sale of food service distributor
• Represented purchaser in $14.4 million acquisition of investment company and related real estate assets out of federal receivership
