Chris Estwick Recognized Among Midlands Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Leaders
Koley Jessen attorney Chris Estwick has been selected as a 2025 Midlands Business Journal “40 Under 40” honoree. The annual recognition honors young professionals in the Greater Omaha area who demonstrate excellence in their careers and meaningful contributions to the community.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be named to the Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list,” said Chris. “I’m sincerely grateful to be recognized alongside so many inspiring professionals who are driving meaningful change in Omaha. Throughout my career, I’ve always believed that our role as attorneys goes beyond serving clients – it’s also about contributing to the strength and vitality of the communities we call home.”
Since joining Koley Jessen, Chris has emerged as a trusted advisor within the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions team, guiding strategic acquirers, private equity sponsors, and closely held businesses through a broad spectrum of transactional matters. His practice centers on middle-market mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, and the negotiation of complex commercial contracts. Known for his ability to align legal precision with business strategy, Chris consistently delivers deal structures that help clients achieve their goals while mitigating risk. In recognition of his professional excellence, he was also named an M&A Advisor Emerging Leader earlier this year, underscoring his growing influence in the dealmaking community.
Beyond his client work, Chris is deeply engaged in advancing both the community and the legal profession. He is a former President of the Urban League of Nebraska Board of Directors, a founding member of CODE (Commitment to Opportunity, Diversity, and Equity), and a past participant in the Nebraska State Bar Association Leadership Academy. Within Koley Jessen, he contributes to the firm’s Innovation Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Committee and helps lead initiatives that promote connection and growth—such as an annual Juneteenth celebration and the firm’s partnership with Avenue Scholars. Chris also dedicates time to mentoring students at the high school, college, and law school levels, reflecting his commitment to fostering opportunity and inclusive leadership across generations.
“Chris approaches every transaction with thoughtful precision and strategic insight,” said Alex Wolf, President of Koley Jessen. “He’s not only a trusted advisor to our clients, but also a respected leader within our firm and the broader community. His recognition by the Midlands Business Journal is a testament to his dedication and excellence, and we’re proud to celebrate this well-deserved milestone with him.”
A special edition of Midlands Business Journal featuring profiles of all 40 honorees will be published in December, with an awards ceremony to follow in early 2026.
