Former Nebraska Chamber President Bryan Slone Rejoins Koley Jessen as Counsel
Koley Jessen is proud to welcome Bryan Slone back to the firm as Counsel. With decades of experience at the intersection of business, law, and public policy, Bryan returns following his tenure as President of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he was a driving force behind efforts to strengthen the state’s economy.
A respected voice in Nebraska’s business community, Bryan brings unique insight into the regulatory, tax, and workforce issues that impact businesses across the state. At Koley Jessen, he will continue advising clients on complex tax matters and strategic public policy considerations—offering practical, forward-thinking counsel informed by his work in both the public and private sectors.

Over the course of his career, Bryan has served as Tax Counsel to a Member of the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee during the landmark 1986 Tax Reform Act, Assistant to the Commissioner of the IRS, and Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Omaha office. He first joined Koley Jessen in 2014, following a gubernatorial run, and has remained a consistent advocate for policies that fuel economic growth and innovation in Nebraska.
Bryan earned both his J.D. and B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He continues to speak and advise on state and federal tax policy and remains committed to helping grow Nebraska’s economy through smart, forward-thinking strategies.
