Koley Jessen Grows to 72 Attorneys
Koley Jessen is happy to announce multiple new hires in our Employment, Labor & Benefits, Estate Planning, Litigation, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Tax practices. Annie Hartnett, Carter Lowman, Brian Purcell, Tyler Seals, Alyssa Stokes, and Julie Ward have joined the firm as Associates.

This new group is a wonderful addition to the team.”
Annie Hartnett joins Koley Jessen’s Litigation team after receiving her B.S. in Finance from Iowa State University (magna cum laude) and her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law (distinction). She will assist the Litigation team with commercial litigation, contract disputes, product liability claims and negligence actions.
Carter Lowman works within the Estate Planning and Administration team. He will assist with basic estate plans, wealth transfer plans and estate and trust administration. He comes to the firm after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and his J.D. from Creighton University (cum laude).
Brian Purcell has joined our Tax team and assists on a variety of federal, state, and local tax matters, including tax planning, compliance, and tax dispute resolution. Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and his J.D. from Creighton University (cum laude).
Tyler Seals is a member of our Mergers and Acquisitions team. He will assist on both strategic and private equity deals and various general corporate matters. He received his B.S. in Marketing from Northwest Missouri State (cum laude) and his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law.
Alyssa Stokes has joined the firm’s Employment and Labor team. She will assist with employment policies and agreements, responding to charges of discrimination, and assist clients through the stages of employment-related litigation and various other employment and HR matters. Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (distinction) and her J.D. from the University of Nebraska (high distinction).
Julie Ward will split her time between the Employment, Labor & Benefits and Litigation teams. She will assist with commercial litigation matters as well as the drafting of employment agreements and policies, charges of discrimination and immigration matters. Julie joins the firm after having received her B.S. Education and Human Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
