Koley Jessen Expands Education and Employment Practices
Nick Lesiak has joined Koley Jessen as an Employment, Labor and Education attorney. Nick’s Employment and Labor Law practice involves advising clients on a broad range of legal topics covering all stages of the employer-employee relationship, including background checks, employment agreements, performance reviews, workplace investigations, policies and procedures, union matters and charges of discrimination.
To his Education Law practice, Nick brings a Master’s of Education degree (M.Ed.) and nine years of teaching experience at various levels. As an Education Law attorney, Nick will assist education clients in various legal areas including responding to OCR complaints, contracting with vendors and service providers, protecting the confidentiality of student information, navigating district personnel matters, and complying with open meeting and public record laws.

Nick has previously clerked with Koley Jessen while pursuing his J.D. at Creighton University where he graduated magna cum laude. He received his M.A. in English from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, his M. Ed. from Creighton University and his B.A. from Saint Louis University (cum laude).
