Reminder: Submit the EEO-1 Survey by September 30
Employers should be receiving their notification letter for completion of the 2013 EEO-1 Survey. Certain employers are legally required to annually submit the EEO-1 and report data related to the race/ethnicity, gender and job categories of their employees. The deadline to submit the EEO-1 is September 30, 2013.
Private employers subject to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with 100 or more employees either individually or in combination with other companies that constitute a single enterprise must submit the EEO-1. Additionally, federal government contractors or first-tier subcontractors who have 50 or more employees and a contract or subcontract of $50,000 or more, serve as a depository of government funds, or are a financial institution processing U.S. Savings Bonds and Notes must also submit the EEO-1.
