From those just starting a family to those preparing to transfer a life’s work to the next generation, Carter Lowman works with clients in order to create estate plans tailored to their specific needs.
These needs range from simple estate plans, including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, and advanced health care directives, to sophisticated wealth transfer plans, structured to minimize the impact of gift, estate, and generation-skipping taxes, to business succession plans, designed to transfer the family farm or business intact to the next generation.
Carter also assists clients with trust and estate administration matters as well as charitable planning matters, including assisting nonprofit organizations in matters involving formation, compliance, and the obtainment of tax-exempt status.
