Shannon Persoma has extensive experience and training in trial preparation and trial presentation and acts as a right hand to the litigation attorneys, helping them effectively prepare for trials and assisting them during trials.
Shannon has substantial experience in all aspects of litigation, including drafting correspondence, pleadings, and discovery, summarizing discovery evidence and medical records, interviewing witnesses, conducting document review, management and eDiscovery, working with settlement agreements and releases, as well as preparing exhibit lists and trial notebooks, and performing extensive background checks. Furthermore, she organizes gathered information and assembles documents to be utilized by attorneys for client meetings, court filings, depositions and trials.
Shannon is also skilled in litigation support software, such as Trial Director, Casemap, Timemap, Notemap, Best Authority, Relativity, Nextpoint and Practice Master. Her extensive experience in building databases and managing and organizing complex case files ensures that case management is effective and efficient throughout the litigation process.
Shannon has worked in various areas of law, including Litigation, Employment, Administrative Law, Family Law, Insurance Defense, Contract Law, Business Law, Construction Law, Personal Injury, Worker’s Compensation, and Collections.
Prior to joining Koley Jessen, she was a lead paralegal, where she was regularly part of the team attending trial, handling logistics, and running presentation software.
