Overview
Erin Schroeder advises individuals and companies on employment-related matters. Erin assists her clients in making strategic decisions, complying with legal requirements, and navigating various stages of dispute resolution. Erin’s broad litigation experience has involved both prosecuting and defending lawsuits and administrative agency complaints successfully in several state and federal courts across the country.
She also works to ensure clients receive accurate and timely employment law updates, and she answers employment law questions in a way that is easy to follow and understand. Erin’s practice focuses primarily on wage and hour, non-competes, workplace health and safety, benefits, document retention, and other employment law issues. Erin frequently presents to companies about wage and hour, anti-discrimination, and other employment-related topics.
Erin also prepares federally-required affirmative action plans and assists contractors with navigating the requirements of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. She often helps financial institutions and contractors navigate the rules and regulations that govern the work they perform for the government. Erin frequently advises on the scope and application of Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act. She also assists employers with EEO-1 and VETS-4212 reporting.
