Overview
Taylor Hayes assists clients in developing and executing a plan to navigate multifaceted commercial litigation, including preparing a strategy for effective pretrial procedure, negotiating a resolution to the dispute that prioritizes the client’s needs and goals, and preparing for trial.
He has experience in litigation involving multi-party claims pertaining to complex contract matters, construction disputes, and professional malpractice. His experience has also included managing discovery in lawsuits where more than 100,000 pages have been produced by the parties and successfully defending a trial court dismissal on appeal to the Nebraska Supreme Court. Taylor has also served as an adjunct professor of Pretrial Litigation at the University of Nebraska College of Law.

- Obtained jury verdict of nearly $1 million for general contractor following a week-long jury trial against national Band 1 Chambers raked litigation firm
- Obtained partial summary judgment regarding OSHA compliance of outdoor stairs installed by general contractor
- Obtained take nothing verdict following bench trial involving construction contract payment dispute
- Successfully defended trial court dismissal on appeal to the Nebraska Supreme Court
- Secured favorable settlement in collections lawsuit where more than $1 million was sought
- Secured favorable settlement in multiple lawsuits involving disputes over farm and ranch land ownership and lease rights
