2018 has marked a year of expansive changes in the realm of electronic data and eCommerce and their impact on intellectual property. For example, global data privacy regulations (GDPR) went into effect impacting many U.S.-based companies. States are implementing their own GDPR laws, which will affect many U.S. businesses.
