Koley Jessen Represents Clearview Capital in Investment in Capitol Services
Koley Jessen represented Clearview Capital, a private investment firm specializing in the acquisition and recapitalization of lower-middle market companies in North America, in its new investment in outsourced legal and compliance services business, Capitol Services.
The investment was structured as a cross-fund investment between Clearview Capital Fund IV, L.P. and its affiliates and Clearview Capital Fund V, L.P. and its affiliates, in partnership with the founders and management of Capitol Services. The investment allowed for the founders of Capitol Services to retire and transition leadership of the company to the senior management team, while still retaining a minority stake in the business and serving in advisory roles. Clearview Capital plans to invest in additional talent, service line expansions, technology, and complementary acquisitions to enhance the company's competitive edge.
