Koley Jessen Names New Venture Capital and Growth Equity Practice Leadership

Koley Jessen recently announced Shareholders Daniel McMahon and David Winkler as Co-Chairs of the firm’s Venture Capital and Growth Equity practice.

The group focuses on a wide range of financing transactions. From angel to late-stage equity financings to bridge instruments, venture debt, and other alternative financing structures, the team has experience from coast to coast and understands the market terms and approach to venture capital and growth equity transactions.

McMahon, whose practice includes advising fund sponsors, family offices, and other strategic investors in connection with their investment activities, commented on his new role saying, “I’m excited to take on this leadership position and guide our practice group as we provide strategic and insightful advice to our clients.”

Winkler, who is actively engaged in the Midwest angel and venture capital community added, “I’m proud to serve as Co-Chair of this group. It’s exciting to be leading this team at a time when our practice has seen steady growth and the market has presented us with opportunities to further expand client relationships and add to our team.”

When asked about their appointments, Corporate Department Chair, Josh Norton said, “Dan and David are talented attorneys with years of experience in helping clients with these types of matters.
