Overview

Andrew Almodova is an associate in the Banking and Finance practice group at Koley Jessen. He has extensive experience in representing both borrowers and lenders in complex commercial loan transactions, including syndicated loans, asset-based loans, mezzanine loans, and bridge loans. He also advises clients on private lending matters, such as loan origination, documentation, servicing, and enforcement.

Andrew also has experience in banking and financial services law. He regularly negotiates commercial contracts for banks and other financial institutions, such as deposit agreements, treasury management agreements, merchant services agreements, and loan participation agreements. He also assists clients with bank mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, regulatory approvals, and closing matters. He provides guidance on various regulatory issues affecting banks and financial institutions, such as bank change of control, bank corporate governance and various commercial lending regulatory matters.

Andrew is also an active member of the Nebraska Bankers Association and the current Secretary of NSBA’s Bank Attorneys Section.
