Beyond the Chatbot: Exploring Opportunities and Risks of Agentic AI | 30 minutes
Jack D. Horgan - Shareholder, Koley Jessen
Agentic AI represents a fundamental shift from the generative AI tools most organizations have begun to adopt. These tools don't just respond to prompts, but can plan, reason, take action, and accomplish multi-step tasks on you or your company's behalf. This presentation will explore how agentic AI is already transforming enterprise workflows across industries while examining the unique business, operational, and legal risks that arise when AI systems act autonomously rather than merely generating content. As the regulatory landscape rapidly evolves with frameworks like the EU AI Act and emerging U.S. state legislation, business and technology leaders must understand the governance structures, liability considerations, and risk mitigation strategies essential for responsible deployment of agentic AI.
