Koley Jessen Advises McCarthy Capital on Minority Investment in WellnessLiving
Koley Jessen advised McCarthy Capital, an Omaha-based private-equity firm focused exclusively on lower middle-market companies, on a minority investment in WellnessLiving, a cloud-based business management software and integrated payments platform for fitness and wellness operators. McCarthy Capital contributed $46 million to the total US$66 million raised in the funding round. The investment was made with the goal of accelerating the growth of the Thornhill, Ontario-based software company. This will include international expansion efforts, ongoing product development and the buildout of robust features for franchises and multi-location enterprises. In addition, WellnessLiving plans to add to existing partnerships and pursue accretive acquisitions as their customer base expands.
