Koley Jessen Advises Sweet Harvest Foods on Acquisitions Leading to Major Industry Milestone

| Deal Announcement

Koley Jessen represented Sweet Harvest Foods, parent company of Nate’s Honey and Nate’s Hives, in five acquisitions completed over the past three years—work that has contributed to the company reaching a significant industry milestone. With the completion of these transactions, Sweet Harvest Foods has become the largest beekeeper in the United States, now overseeing more than 6 billion honey bees, over 120,000 colonies, and more than 100 beekeepers operating 10 apiary sites nationwide.

Each acquisition has strengthened Sweet Harvest Foods’ hive-to-table supply chain, supported domestic honey production, and helped the company meet growing consumer demand for natural, American honey. The company’s continued investment in local apiary operations reflects its expanding role within the agriculture and food-production sector and its commitment to supporting long-term U.S. honey production.

The Koley Jessen deal teams have been led by M&A attorneys Nickie Konen and Emily Bodfield, with assistance on the latest transaction from M&A Analyst Michael Buckley.
