Koley Jessen Enhances Estate Planning and Tax Practices
Lisa Lehan has joined Koley Jessen as an attorney in its Estate and Business Succession Planning and Tax Practice Groups. Lisa will work with a broad array of clients on the tax-efficient design and implementation of customized estate plans to address each client’s specific objectives. Her legal services range from preparation of basic wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance directives to implementing sophisticated wealth transfer techniques in an effort to help minimize the impact of gift, estate and generation-skipping taxes. Lisa also advises entrepreneurs and small business owners on federal and state tax strategies, including tax controversy matters.
Prior to joining Koley Jessen, Lisa worked as an attorney at Mutual of Omaha where she led an insurance and securities regulatory compliance team for over seven years. Prior to Mutual of Omaha, Lisa was in private practice in Omaha focusing on estate planning and tax matters. She also previously taught Estate Planning at Creighton University School of Law as an adjunct professor.

Lisa received her BSBA in Accounting from Creighton University (summa cum laude) and her JD from Creighton University School of Law (summa cum laude). Lisa holds a Certified Public Accountant certificate.
