Koley Jessen Welcomes Nine New Attorneys in Annual Fall Class

Koley Jessen is proud to welcome nine new attorneys who have recently passed the bar exam and are beginning their legal careers with the firm this fall. This year’s class includes attorneys returning after their Summer Associate experience at Koley Jessen, as well as others joining us for the first time. Together, they represent the future of our team, bringing dedication, fresh perspectives, and strong academic foundations to the clients we serve.

The new attorneys will be joining the Corporate and Litigation Departments:

Corporate Department

Charles Erker – Erker received his J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law (with high distinction) and has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (with distinction).

Alexander Fairchild-Flynn – Fairchild-Flynn holds his J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law (with distinction) and has a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy & Religion from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Ira Kuehn – Kuehn received his J.D. from The University of Iowa College of Law, as well as a M.S. in Finance from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Luther College.

Sydney Mallum – Mallum received her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law (cum laude) and her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Patrick Mruz – Mruz holds his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law (magna cum laude) and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Brooklyn Olson – Olson received a J.D. from Creighton University School of Law (cum laude) and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Montana (magna cum laude).

Litigation Department

Hunter Belcastro – Belcastro holds his J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law (with high distinction) and a B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (with highest distinction).

Zoe Burt – Burt received her J.D. from the Creighton University School of Law (magna cum laude) as well as a M.A. in Psychology from Kean University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University (summa cum laude).

Jori Peters – Peters earned her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law (with distinction) and graduated with a B.A. in Legal Studies from Chadron State College (summa cum laude).

With these additions, Koley Jessen continues to invest in developing the next generation of business-minded attorneys to serve clients across Nebraska and the country.
