This presentation will seek to introduce entrepreneurs to the most common types of business entities, how they differ, and why forming an entity is important. More specifically, this presentation will (1) introduce you to common business entities such as limited liabilities companies, corporations, and partnerships; (2) discuss the pros and cons of each entity type from the perspective of a startup; and (3) discuss the formation process and governance obligations of each type of entity.
