14 Associates Join Koley Jessen for Summer Program

| Firm News

With the addition of 14 summer associates, Koley Jessen is excited to welcome it’s largest class of law school students ever to participate in its Summer Associate Program.

Each summer, Koley Jessen offers law students the opportunity to work amongst its attorneys on a variety of ongoing client matters. With the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the firm has made certain modifications to its program. However, the summer associates will still have the opportunity to interact and work with various attorneys and staff throughout the firm’s areas of practice to gain meaningful work experience. They will also each be matched up with a mentor, who will provide tailored guidance and feedback throughout the program.

“Our summer associates will spend 8 weeks learning about the legal practice through hands-on experience and direct mentorship,” said David Goeschel, Recruiting Committee Chairperson. “Despite tweaks to its structure and length due to COVID-19, the goal for our program remains the same – to attract and retain the best and the brightest through mentorship, professional development, and experience on a wide variety of business and legal issues.”

Joining Koley Jessen as second year summer associates are Keith Catt, Emily Coffey, Katie Curtiss, James Glover, Beau Morgan, and Jacob Walker. Catt, Coffey, Curtiss, and Glover attend the University of Nebraska College of Law and Morgan and Walker attend Creighton University School of Law.

Joining the firm as first year summer associates are Riley Arnold, John Barrett, Emily Locke, Tasha Mandell, Baylie Moravec, Brad Peck, Kayla Sullivan, and Griffin Wonderlich. Locke, Peck, and Sullivan attend the University of Nebraska College of Law; Arnold and Wonderlich attend Creighton University School of Law; Barrett attends the University of Wisconsin Law School; Mandell attends Washington University in St. Louis School of Law; and Moravec attends the University of South Dakota School of Law.

“We have always viewed our summer associate program as the lifeblood of our Firm,” said Alex Wolf, President of Koley Jessen. “While the legal industry continues to face challenges presented by these unprecedented times, we remain committed to supporting our strategic initiatives through identifying, hiring, and training our next generation of attorneys. We are excited about the 14 summer associates joining us this summer and are incredibly optimistic about their futures in this business.”
