Matt Maser Returns to Koley Jessen

| Firm News

Matt Maser has rejoined Koley Jessen as Counsel in the Firm’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice areas.

Matt was an attorney and shareholder at Koley Jessen from 1997 to September 2010 before becoming the General Counsel for Gary and Mary West’s family office, West Family Holdings, LLC. While working with the West Family, Matt provided insight and advice on a variety of investment and general business matters, and spearheaded the purchase and sale of numerous businesses in the mergers and acquisitions arena.

When talking about Maser’s addition, Koley Jessen’s president, Mike Hupp, remarked, “We are thrilled to bring Matt back on board. Matt will split time between Omaha and Grand Island but will spend more of his time in his office in Grand Island. With over 70 attorneys and expertise across the legal spectrum, Koley Jessen provides a full service solution to clients and also routinely partners with attorneys across the state to assist on matters where additional capacity or a specific area of expertise is needed.”

Matt will be working with Koley Jessen’s award-winning Mergers and Acquisitions team on transactions as well as handling general corporate matters on behalf of clients.

Matt stated, “I’m very pleased to rejoin Koley Jessen and am excited to work again with such an energetic group of people who are laser-focused on client service. Throughout my experience as a shareholder at Koley Jessen and while working with them on many business transactions while at West Family Holdings, I witnessed first-hand how committed they are to helping clients achieve their goals and objectives. I am excited to once again be part of their team.”

Matt received his B.S. in Accounting (with High Distinction) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his J.D. (with Distinction) from the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Matt will be available to meet with clients in the Tri-Cities area at his office located in Grand Island or in Omaha at Koley Jessen’s office. He will continue to serve clients he’s worked with previously and will be accepting new clients.
