Comran Sharif Selected as Inclusive Communities LeadDIVERSITY Advocate

08.20.2020

Koley Jessen is pleased to announce that Comran Sharif has been selected to join Inclusive Communities’ LeadDIVERSITY program.

LeadDIVERSITY is a year-long program designed to build a network of leaders dedicated to creating localized solutions to diversity and inclusion opportunities in Nebraska. Those selected are an inclusive sample of Omaha’s diverse community, representing every racial identity and an array of industries, including corporate, nonprofit, public sector/government, education, healthcare, and service organizations. Throughout the program, Advocates will engage in conversation, skills training, and service projects that will leave them well-versed and experienced in anticipating diversity and inclusion needs in the workplace as well as the community.

“Being selected to LeadDIVERSITY is a great accomplishment for Comi and a wonderful opportunity to help Koley Jessen advance the firm’s diversity initiatives” said Alex Wolf, President of Koley Jessen. “We are eager for Comi to share his experience with our Diversity and Inclusion Committee and implement what he learns in order to continue to advance the vision of our firm. We congratulate Comi for his achievement and appreciate his continued commitment to diversity and inclusion.”

Comi is a Senior Associate in Koley Jessen’s Corporate Department, where he advises companies on a range of business transactions and day-to-day corporate governance matters. He focuses his practice on domestic, middle-market corporate and private equity transactions, with a particular emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and recapitalizations. In addition to his legal practice, Comi serves on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and is also a TeamMates Mentor.
