With nearly 30 years of extensive trial and appellate experience, Greg Scaglione has a significant record of success in resolving a broad variety of complex business, commercial, and intellectual property disputes. He was recently named by Thomson Reuters as a SuperLawyer. He has obtained substantial monetary results, including a $53.6mm verdict which was recognized as a Top 50 verdict in the nation in 2018, and has defeated multimillion-dollar claims on behalf of clients in litigation and arbitration matters throughout the country.
Greg is the Chair of Koley Jessen’s Litigation Department. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Nebraska Supreme Court.

- Obtained $53.6mm verdict for unfair competition, copyright infringement, breach of contract, and false advertising
- Received a judgment for injunctive relief and attorney fees for trademark infringement
- Obtained judgment against a city for wrongfully preventing real estate development and zoning disputes
- Obtained large settlements in construction, shareholder, software implementation, and contract disputes
- Successfully defended companies, officers, and directors from multimillion-dollar claims of breach of contracts and fiduciary duties, as well as securities and ERISA class actions, and DOJ, DOL, SEC, and FDIC investigations and suits, including antitrust, securities, and unfair competition
- Won a complete dismissal of charges against an executive accused of business misconduct in a “business owners” dispute, and then obtained a judgment for that executive’s compensation
- Successfully defended and prosecuted national class action suits and recovered millions of dollars in a variety of claims in settlements, arbitrations, and litigation
