Madonna K. Burleigh

With nearly 40 years of legal experience, Madonna Burleigh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Koley Jessen Estate and Business Succession Planning team. The majority of Madonna’s career has been focused in the areas of probate and estate and trust administration.

She helps guide fiduciaries and beneficiaries through each step of the administration process. Madonna identifies assets, verifies asset titling and beneficiaries, and determines asset values. She also drafts all pleadings and correspondence needed during the administration process. Madonna has extensive experience in the preparation and filing of federal estate and gift and Nebraska inheritance tax returns.

In 2017, she earned advanced certification in Estate Planning through the National Association of Legal Assistants. Currently, Madonna is one of only 67 paralegals nationwide, and the only Nebraska paralegal, to achieve this designation.
