Overview
Clients turn to Andrew Tugan when they have business disputes involving technical complexity, operational pressures, or relationships that need careful untangling. Drawing on deep experience across commercial litigation and technology-driven conflicts, he helps clients navigate disagreements with practical, business-oriented solutions.
Andy has successfully litigated disputes across the country involving issues such as breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of trade secrets, restrictive covenants, business torts, shareholder disputes, fraud, and veil piercing. Andy also has substantial experience representing clients in a wide range of regulatory matters, including environmental, energy, consumer protection, and land use matters. Clients value his ability to translate technical facts into clear legal strategies and to identify solutions that make business sense long before a dispute becomes a lawsuit.
Andy’s work frequently involves advising manufacturers and distributors at the earliest stages of a conflict. These matters often arise when equipment doesn’t function as expected, delivery timelines are not met, or a party’s needs change after a contract is signed.
Before practicing law, Andy served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, an experience that informs his steady approach and ability to manage complex situations under pressure.
