Joe Schauer

Focusing his practice on corporate and transactional matters, Joe Schauer advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, SEC compliance, commercial contracts, and general corporate governance. He represents companies, investors, and financial institutions across a range of industries, including life sciences, technology, and manufacturing and distribution.

He regularly advises strategic and private equity clients in both buy- and sell-side transactions across a wide range of deal sizes. His experience also includes representing issuers and underwriters in public and private securities offerings, as well as counseling clients on ongoing securities law compliance and reporting obligations. Joe was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of a medical device company and holds a CPA license (inactive).
