Overview
John Lingelbach has over 20 years of experience representing clients in litigation involving breach of contract, insurance disputes, construction disputes, commercial and business litigation matters and catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. He has handled disputes involving mediation, arbitration, and appeared in state trial and appellate courts and U.S. Federal District and appellate courts around the country.
John’s involvement begins with counseling the client on potential litigation, or after an actual lawsuit that has been filed. It includes preparation of the lawsuit or defense, representing the client during the discovery process, completing the trial or arbitration process and any subsequent appeals.
John’s experience has included several specialty areas, such as construction law disputes including defective construction claims, insurance issues related to those claims and construction liens. He has handled many disputes before the U.S. Tax Court and has represented families in estate and trust litigation matters. John also represents clients in personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits and those involving alleged environmental pollution and contamination.

- Obtained a favorable jury verdict in excess of $1 million on behalf of a publicly traded equipment manufacturer
- Won two-week jury trial declaring a will invalid in a $7 million estate
- Obtained numerous settlements for clients in excess of $1 million each
- Represented numerous insurers or their insureds in claims involving securities fraud, defective construction, catastrophic personal injury, insurance coverage disputes, property damage, and real estate title issues
- Represented business owners in ownership disputes including shareholder oppression claims
- Represented clients in tax dispute cases in the U.S. Tax Court
- Represented families in significant disputes over estate and trust matters
- Litigated and negotiated favorable settlements in personal injury and wrongful death cases
- Represented clients in claims involving environmental damage and pollution
