Overview

Kate Hughes assists clients with all phases of estate planning including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance directives as well as wealth transfer planning, charitable planning and estate administration. With a collaborative approach, she seeks to provide each client with an estate plan that will serve as a tool to build and preserve their unique legacy.

Kate also assists numerous public charities and private foundations by serving as outside general counsel.  She assists these charitable organizations navigate the intricacies of tax-exempt rules in all facets, from formation to governance, and beyond.
