Alexandra Bierman and Carmella Perkins Join Koley Jessen’s Employment and Labor Practice

Koley Jessen has expanded its Employment and Labor, Immigration Practice with the addition of Alexandra Bierman and Carmella Perkins.

“Employers come to us with questions that range from bringing in talent from abroad to resolving workplace disputes,” said Margaret Hershiser, Chair of the Employment and Labor Practice. “Alexandra and Carmella strengthen our team’s ability to help clients on both fronts, and we’re glad to have them with us.”

Alexandra Bierman joins Koley Jessen as a Senior Associate. She advises employers on employment-based immigration matters, including visa processes, immigration compliance, and workforce planning. She earned her J.D. from the University of South Dakota. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Spanish from Hastings College (high distinction).

Carmella Perkins joins as an Associate. She represents employers in state and federal employment litigation and advises clients on workplace policies, internal investigations, leave and accommodation issues, and compliance. She earned her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law (with distinction). She holds a B.A. in English and Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (summa cum laude).

Koley Jessen looks forward to the contributions Alexandra and Carmella will make to their team and the firm’s clients.
