Joe Willms Joins Koley Jessen's Litigation Department

Joe Willms has joined Koley Jessen's Litigation Department as a Senior Associate, bringing experience in complex commercial disputes and a practical, business-minded approach to helping clients resolve challenging legal matters efficiently.

Joe's practice centers on commercial litigation across a broad range of disputes, from initial case evaluation through final resolution. He advises companies on matters involving contract disputes, construction and land use issues, business separations, and employment claims, with experience in trial, mediation, and arbitration. His background in regulatory and industry-specific issues allows him to approach each dispute with a fuller picture of the business context at stake.

“Joe adds valuable depth to our litigation team,” said John Matson, Chair of the Litigation Department. “He understands how legal strategy intersects with business realities, and his ability to guide clients through complex disputes with clarity and focus will make an immediate impact. Joe earned his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Creighton Law Review and received a CALI Award in Advanced Legal Research. He received his bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
