Slides are now available from the Koley Jessen webinar series discussing the implications of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. This series walked through various aspects of tax reform to begin considering what changes businesses and individuals might want to make in 2018.

The M&A Advisor named Koley Jessen as Law Firm of the Year at the 16th Annual M&A Advisor Awards on Monday, November 13th at the Metropolitan Club, New York, NY. The Awards Gala honored the professionals whose activities set the standard for M&A transactions. This year, over 280 nominees, representing over 650 companies, became finalists for the awards. 

Koley Jessen Shareholder, Lisa Lehan, has been named a 2017 Midlands Business Journal 40 Under 40 award winner. She will be recognized at the Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Awards Breakfast on December 15th for having shown drive, leadership and success in her career as well as within the community.

The M&A Advisor has announced finalists for the Top M&A Deals, Firms and Professionals Awards, which will be announced on November 13th at the Metropolitan Club in New York. Koley Jessen has been named as a finalist for Law Firm of the Year. The finalists are:

Chambers 2017 High Net Worth Guide has recognized Koley Jessen as a leading firm in Private Wealth Law in their recent rankings. In addition to be ranked as a firm, individual attorneys Kurt Tjaden and Brandon Hamm were recognized by the publication as leading attorneys in this area of law. Only 3 law firms and 5 individual attorneys in Nebraska were singled out as ranked by Chambers.

The Best Lawyers in America© 2018 has recognized 19 attorneys from Koley Jessen across 16 practice areas, including Shaun McGaughey who was named the Best Lawyers© 2018 Mergers and Acquisitions “Lawyer of the Year” in Omaha.

Super Lawyers, which recognizes leading attorneys by state, has announced that 10 Koley Jessen attorneys have been selected to the 2017 Great Plains Super Lawyers or 2017 Great Plains Rising Stars list. Only the top 5 percent of all attorneys in Nebraska are named each year as Super Lawyers and no more than 2.5 percent of all Nebraska lawyers are named to the Rising Stars list.
